ACS Wins RFID Successful Application Award in 2015 IOT Excellence Awards

HONG KONG, 09 May, 2016 - Advanced Card Systems Ltd. 2015 IOT Excellence Awards recognizes successful enterprises, products and applications in the RFID industry. It was organized by International Internet of Things Business and Application Promotion Association, and sponsored by the prestigious media outlets, "RFID World" and “IOT World," both under Ulink Media.

The awarding ceremony gathered around 500 excellent enterprises, experts, and RFID terminal user representatives from different sectors of the RFID industry. They reviewed the achievements of RFID industry in the past ten years, looked at the industry development direction, and discussed the development prospects. New technologies, innovative products and various application cases were also exhibited on this annual platform for outstanding enterprises to exchange information and seek cooperation opportunities.

ACS's entry is its ETC (electronic toll collection) card mobile top up solution for China toll road operators. ETC is an electronic payment system widely promoted to ease the traffic jams in highways. “The award-winning solution allows ETC users who are in Beijing, Anhui and Zhejiang to top up ETC cards at any time and any place with mobile devices and ACS's mobile card readers, thus eliminating the need for queuing up to reload cards at specified time and place,” says Ken. “This solution brings great flexibility to users.” Its user base is rapidly growing across the country.
